About the Authors

Jason Overby holds a B.S. in chemistry and political science from the University of Tennessee at Martin, a Ph.D. in inorganic chemistry from Vanderbilt University, and has conducted postdoctoral research at Dartmouth College. With a keen interest in integrating technology into education, Jason has taught various chemistry courses and conducts research with undergraduates at the College of Charleston.

Dr. Julia Burdge completed her undergraduate studies at Iowa State University and earned her bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in inorganic chemistry from the University of South Florida. She further pursued her Ph.D. in analytical chemistry at the University of Idaho. With over two decades of teaching experience across different levels of the chemistry curriculum, Julia has been instrumental in designing innovative chemistry courses and mentoring future educators in the field. She is currently affiliated with the University of Idaho.
